PRIMARY PURPOSE: The student will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for broadcasting at the Thomas Stadium. QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a current student of Beaumont ISD enrolled in a video broadcasting class Must be legal working ag Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and prepare correspondence Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner Eye for detail; accuracy is imperative Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
Produce camera footage Work with Final Cut Pro editing software Assist with the operation of the jumbotron Play music during pregame, postgame and half-time Produce announcements for upcoming events at both high schools.Uses mainframe computer (AS400), personal computer, printer, typewriter, copier, calculator, fax machine, decollator and burster WORKING CONDITIONS: Mental Demands
Work with frequent interruptions Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Light lifting, light carrying, reaching above shoulder, use of fingers, repetitive hand motions Frequent bending and stooping Prolonged use of computer Normal office environment/Working Outside
