Position Overview
We are seeking passionate and creative
Social Media Volunteers
to join our growing communications team. You will play a key role in expanding CNPAF’s online presence, increasing engagement, and sharing stories that reflect our mission of love, understanding, and cross-cultural care. As a Social Media Volunteer, you’ll help us tell meaningful stories, connect with communities, and promote programs that empower mental wellness and belonging for immigrants, students, and families worldwide. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with CNPAF’s mission and outreach goals. Create, edit, and share original content (posts, graphics, videos, and stories) across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, WeChat, and LinkedIn. Engage with followers, partners, and community members by responding to comments and initiating thoughtful conversations. Support ongoing campaigns, events, and partnership announcements through creative storytelling. Monitor performance metrics, track engagement trends, and suggest data-informed improvements. Collaborate with the Executive Board and outreach teams to ensure messaging is culturally sensitive, inclusive, and mission-driven. Qualifications Strong writing and communication skills in English; Mandarin fluency is highly preferred. Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, WeChat, LinkedIn, YouTube). Creative mindset and basic design or video editing experience (Canva, CapCut, or similar tools). Interest in mental health awareness, cross-cultural dialogue, and nonprofit work. Collaborative spirit, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn. Bonus Skills: Knowledge of social media analytics, SEO, or community engagement strategies. Experience in bilingual content creation or multicultural communications.
