Job Summary

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is a creative and highly organized individual responsible for executing integrated marketing strategies that promote the resort's ski operations, lodging facilities, and community events.

Key Responsibilities

1. Graphic Design Content Creation:

Design and produce visual assets, including print collateral (posters, flyers, menus, trail maps), digital graphics (website banners, display ads, email headers), and internal signage, ensuring all materials align with established brand guidelines. Photography/Videography:

Assist with or coordinate basic in-house photography and video projects for immediate social media and marketing needs. 2. Social Media & Digital Content

Strategy & Execution:

Daily development and implementation of social media content calendars across major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), focusing on driving engagement, bookings, and ticket sales. Real-Time Updates:

Provide timely updates on resort conditions (snow reports, lift status, trail closures) via social media and the resort website. Database/Analytics:

Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics and campaigns to measure performance and inform future strategy. 3. Event Planning & Coordination

Logistics & Promotion:

Support the planning and execution of year-round resort events, including musical performances, holiday celebrations, ski races, and seasonal festivals. On-Site Management:

Serve as a primary point of contact during designated events, overseeing setup, vendor coordination, and breakdown to ensure a seamless guest experience. 4. Website Content & Management

Perform regular, timely updates to website content including text, images, news articles, events and documents.

Requirements

Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) Proven ability to manage multiple social media platforms, content calendars, and reporting tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required by the resort and event schedule. Passion for the outdoor industry, particularly snow sports and mountain culture.
