Design Fundamentals
This course is an introduction to the basic elements of design and processes of visual communication using graphic tools standard in the industry. The focus is on mastering pixel, vector, and layout tools to demonstrate two-dimensional graphics, images, symbols, color theory, typography, and composition. Technology requirement: Students are responsible for providing their own laptop that is capable of running the Adobe Creative Cloud.
What You Will Do:
Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes Respond to students' questions and emails within the established timeframes Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University What You Will Bring:
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum: Bachelors with Design or Graphic Design/Photography Certification coursework AND
industry experience AND
approval by Dean OR
2 years University instruction experience.
Preferred: Masters or other terminal degree AND
2 years University instruction experience.
