Instructional Designer
for a prominent client of ours. This position is in
Lake Forest, IL 60045.
Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description: $35 - $37/hour based on previous experience. Full-Time, 5 days a week on-site in Lake Forest, Monday - Friday - normal business hours. Working in the training team skilled in instructional design, learning strategy, and implementation Leading or participating in all aspects of the industry-standard methodology for assessing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating content. Creating instructor-led courses (virtual and in-person), eLearning, and other instructional materials that simplify complex concepts, present information attractively, and maximize information retention and knowledge transfer. Collaborating openly and effectively with people at all levels in the organization. Maintain the Learning Management System by assigning training and processing profile updates. Manage project timelines and drive initiatives to ensure on-time delivery. Ensure the quality and accuracy of all training materials by facilitating successful review processes as needed continually. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Education, Instructional Design, or related field. 2 or more years of relevant work experience, preferably as an instructional designer, educational technologist, eLearning developer, and Learning Management System (LMS), specifically, ISOtrain, expertise. Understanding of the required elements for different training delivery methods, like computer-based training, instructor-led training content, and competency assessments. Experience using Articulate Storyline, or similar design and development software. Collaboration and interpersonal skills - the role will frequently interact with stakeholders and other team members, so collaboration and open communication is essential.
