that the company was founded on sixty (60) years ago. They are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative

Electro-Mechanical Designer

to create, develop, and refine designs for products and systems that integrate both electrical and mechanical components. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams under the direction of a Project Manager to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electro-mechanical assemblies, enclosures, and components using CAD software. Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and assembly. Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of systems. Support prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting of design issues. Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and revision control in accordance with company standards. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.

Preferred Experience: • Knowledge of the following software programs is a definite plus. (Torchmate / Plasma Cutter; Corel Draw). • Experience with MiSys manufacturing software. • Experience translating red lined drawings into fully documented prints. • Familiar with handling Engineering Requests/Orders

Qualifications: • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field. • Experienced in the design and detailing of sheet metal, injection molded, and machined parts. • Minimum 5 years experience in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault. • Minimum of 5 years experience in the design of consumer or industrial products in a manufacturing environment is required. • Understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical design principles. • Knowledge / experience in manufacturing methods, problem solving, cost factor awareness, and documentation practices. • Ability to concurrently manage multiple projects. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
