Event Promotions Trainee
to join our team. This is an entry-level position with
full paid training , making it perfect for individuals who are energetic, outgoing, and excited to build a career in
event promotions, marketing, or community engagement —no prior experience required. Role Overview
As an Event Promotions Trainee, you will learn the fundamentals of
event operations, promotional marketing, and public engagement . You’ll work side-by-side with experienced team leads and managers as you support on-site events and build essential marketing and communication skills. Key Responsibilities
Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing
live promotional events
and outreach campaigns
Represent nonprofit clients and clearly communicate their mission and brand message
Engage with event attendees, answer questions, and build positive public interactions
Support event setup, operation, and breakdown (equipment, signage, branded displays)
Collect donor leads and participation information for nonprofit fundraising campaigns
Track engagement metrics and help with basic reporting and administrative tasks
Work collaboratively with team members to maximize event performance
Attend ongoing training sessions, workshops, and team meetings
Qualifications
No experience required — full training is provided
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Outgoing, enthusiastic, and comfortable speaking with new people
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability, including some weekends
Desire to grow into leadership or event management roles
Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
