Job Summary
The Adobe Creative Space of the Innovation & Research Commons is an open-access learning space in theRBD Library for Auburn students, faculty, and staff dedicated to providing Auburn students with digital creation skills and technology.
Essential Functions
Include but not limited to:
Provide multimedia and graphic design educational support to Auburn students, faculty, and staff in their use of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, mainly at the Adobe help desk in the Adobe Creative Space
Assist Auburn students, faculty, and staff in their use of Adobe Creative Cloud in-person and/or through Zoom via one-on-one consultations or small group instruction
Assist Auburn students, faculty, and staff in their use of technology in the Adobe Creative Space such as use of an AV presentation system, computing hardware
May assist with live instruction such as workshops, instructional sessions and Adobe-related events
May help develop, curate, and maintain instructional content on the academic application of Adobe apps
Continue learning in Adobe Creative Cloud

Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled undergraduate student at Auburn University
Expectations
:
Report for the shift on time
Interest in public service and delivery of quality customer service
Be willing to work as a team member while interacting with faculty, staff, and students
Possess strong interpersonal and communications skills
Exhibit dependability, multi-tasking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are imperative in this position
Some experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud
Some knowledge of design principles
Motivation to learn
Job frequently requires standing, walking, reaching, balancing, hearing, handling objects with hands, and occasionally lifting
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud applications
Extensive knowledge of design principles
Pay Rate
$9.00/hour
Work Hours
Varies up to 20 hours per week depending on department needs, typically 8am-10pm M-Th, 8am-6pm F, 1pm-10pm Sun
