Ozarka College seeks a creative, dynamic, and highly organized Director of Marketing and Digital Media to lead the College's comprehensive communications and marketing initiatives.
Working under the direction of the Vice President of Advancement and Workforce Development, the Director is responsible for promoting Ozarka College's mission, programs, and achievements through strategic storytelling, consistent branding, and content development. This position oversees media relations, marketing campaigns, digital and social media presence, and the development of materials that support student recruitment and public awareness. This is a 12-month, full-time, exempt position.
The Director of Marketing and Digital Media conducts the following activities on behalf of Ozarka College:
Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate with Advancement team to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications plan to increase visibility and strengthen the College's brand. Coordinate with Admissions to design recruitment materials and campaigns. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving digital and AI technologies to drive innovative content strategies. Develop and manage mission-aligned digital media strategies to increase audience engagement and strengthen the College's online presence across all platforms. Produce and distribute internal and external publications, including Campus News, flyers, and e-newsletters. Coordinate advertising campaigns across print, radio, television, and digital platforms within budgetary limits. Capture, edit, and maintain a library of photos and digital media for marketing and institutional use. Oversee brand identity and ensure consistent use of logos, taglines, and official College colors in all materials. Support the Ozarka College Foundation with marketing and promotional projects. Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and regional media outlets, including periodic visits and hosting media representatives. Conduct market research and data analysis to guide advertising and recruitment strategies. Coordinate with Information Systems to maintain accurate and updated website content. Assist with promotion of College-wide events and community partnerships. Order, maintain, and distribute College promotional items. Attend College functions and photograph events as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Advancement or the President. College-Wide Expectations

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a closely related field. Professional experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, preferred. Strong written, verbal, and digital communication skills. Proficiency with social media platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing strategies. Demonstrated technical writing and editing ability. Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities effectively. Commitment to the community college mission and student success.
