Permanent Position with Benefits
Akron, Ohio design firm is seeking to hire an AutoCAD Curtainwall Designer with experience and proficiency to detail and review designs of building envelope, curtainwall, and elevation design drawings. Multiple locations will be considered to include: Akron, OH; Columbus, OH; Cincinnati, OH; or out of state remote work with occasional paid travel to an Ohio office.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Graduate, GED, Vocational School and/or higher level education Associate Degree, Civil Structural, or Architectural is preferred AUTOCAD proficient to support engineering and drafting projects & interpret architectural and structural drawings 4+ years' experience using AutoCAD in a civil structural environment Knowledge of deadload/windload connections with an understanding of thermal system movements is a plus Create and modify architectural / structural drawings Check shop drawings against architectural / structural drawings. Detail oriented / Organized Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
