Fahrenheit Advisors is assisting Kirbor Homes in the search for a creative and experienced Residential Architectural Designer to lead the development of new home plans, product lines, residential models, and elevations for our growing portfolio. The Residential Architectural Designer will take ownership of the design process from concept through construction-ensuring every project reflects Kirbor's standards of quality, efficiency, and creativity. This role collaborates closely with all departments to bring thoughtful, high-quality homes to life.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage architectural design projects in CAD and Revit Meet designated project timelines and maintain project documentation Prepare or assign drafting for all architectural projects Coordinate structural permitting and manage Revit templates/checklists Participate in design meetings and provide regular status updates Develop 2D and 3D renderings for conceptual design presentations Prepare complete architectural permit sets, including ventilation, drainage, and electrical drawings Ensure energy compliance using prescriptive methods Collaborate with external partners and internal departments throughout the process Review and coordinate drawings across structural, MEP, civil, and interior disciplines Create approved color schemes, custom design options, and marketing strip plans Support the Production Department during construction and help identify opportunities for process and product improvement Requirements:
7-10 years of experience in residential architectural design BS in Architecture, Engineering or related field or professional experience in an Architectural Design role Strong understanding of residential construction, design techniques, and building codes Proficiency in CAD and REVIT Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills A proactive, positive, and team-oriented mindset Experience with Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Professional, or Bluebeam (preferred)
