The Upper Valley Nighthawks are a collegiate summer baseball team based in White River Junction, Vermont, competing in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL). Founded in 2016, the Nighthawks are known for competitive baseball, community involvement, and professional development opportunities for players and staff. Each summer, the team provides a hands-on, growth-focused experience in a fun and fast-paced sports environment.

Internship Information:

Opportunity to Earn College Credit (dependent on school approval) Access to professional-level baseball operations and media production Ability to broadcast to numerous networks (HUDL, ESPN+, and Unbeaten Sports) Networking opportunities with NECBL coaches, players, and league officials Responsibilities:

Assist in the setup, operation, and teardown of broadcast and streaming equipment for all home games Operate camera systems, ensuring steady shots, smooth pans, and proper framing Support on-screen graphics and scoreboard integration during live streams Help manage audio levels and technical quality control throughout broadcasts Collaborate with the play-by-play and production teams to ensure seamless broadcast delivery Assist with postgame video editing and uploading to league and team platforms Maintain organized storage of video assets, cables, and production gear Provide creative input on improving the viewing experience and presentation quality Assist Director of Broadcasting with other tasks as needed Requirements:

Currently enrolled in Broadcasting, Communications, Film, or a related field Familiarity with camera or technical equipment preferred but not required Basic understanding of camera operation, audio equipment, and video production Strong attention to detail, focus, and time management skills Ability to problem-solve quickly and work under pressure during live events Effective teamwork and communication skills Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the season Baseball knowledge or prior sports production experience is a plus Benefits:
