Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) Performance Communications team is seeking an experienced Staff Communications Manager to drive social media engagement and customer communications as part of our US Brand Social team. In this role, you’ll work alongside cross-functional teams and world-class agency partners to oversee community management, social listening, crisis comms, and proactive efforts to build brand awareness and reputation. We are looking for a strategic thinker who is fluent in the constantly evolving social media landscape and is passionate about the opportunity to champion and connect with the small and mid-market business community daily, working across brands including QuickBooks, Mailchimp, and Intuit Enterprise Suite.
Responsibilities
Oversee community management, social listening, and crisis communications for the Global Business Solutions Group US Brand Social team
Daily, hands-on platform to engage with the small business community through active platform listening and community management
Drive brand sentiment and customer communications reporting on on a monthly and ad hoc basis aligned to key campaigns and moments in time
Lead aspects of social strategy and execution aligned to core communications and business objectives through all stages of development: planning, briefing, reviewing, publishing, and analyzing performance
Drive activations in partnership with cross-functional teams including content marketing, influencer, PR, brand, product marketing, global teams, and agency partners to build relevance with our priority audiences
Work with cross-functional teams including content marketing, sales, customer success, analytics, acquisition, and holistic search
Build deep customer empathy and keep a pulse on conversations across our target audiences including mid-market and accountants
Own end-to-end measurement and reporting for areas of focus
Keep a pulse and act on trends, cultural moments, and right-for-brand opportunities in social
Continually stay on top of industry developments and insights across the social landscape and share back with the broader team
Partner with social teams across Intuit globally to continually improve our collective efforts
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a similar social media role, preferably for a tech brand
Social listening, community management, and crisis comms experience at a large brand or organization, with experience working across social channels including TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, and LinkedIn
Strong familiarity with social listening tools (Sprout Social, Brandwatch) and experience partnering closely with customer support and external communications teams
Social media core capabilities including in-depth platform knowledge, community management, editorial calendar management, and publishing
Exceptional writing and copywriting skills. Proven experience writing both proactive and reactive copy within a brand’s voice and tone.
Strong judgement and ability to follow playbooks, principles, and brand guidelines
Excellent program management skills. Ability to self-start, build relationships, work cross-functionally, communicate, navigate barriers, juggle multiple high-priority projects, and influence in a highly matrixed, large organization.
Analytical skills and experience making data-backed recommendations from a variety of internal and external sources.
An understanding of the evolving search landscape, including AI search, and the role that social platform play

Northern California (Bay Area): $158,000 - $214,000
Southern California: $148,500 - $201,000
