Nesco Resource is in search of a Marketing Specialist to work one of our clients on a part-time basis in Danbury, CT.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate leads for the Sales Department to facilitate growth into target markets. The sources for leads include:
Website RFI’s and RFQ’s
Trade publication advertisements, articles, whitepapers, etc.
Targeted email blasts
The distribution of a variety of sales collateral
Tradeshows - minimal travel ( Other
Tradeshow preparation including:
Identifying tradeshows to support growth into target markets
Booth design and creating product displays
Arranging freight / shipping
Booth reservation / payment
Maintaining sales samples
Ensuring prompt follow-up to booth inquiries
Website development, maintenance, and information collection/distribution
Develop and maintain pricelists for all product families
Develop and maintain datasheets for all product families
Develop and maintain sales collateral for all product families including:
Product datasheets
Product / capability brochures
5-minute “Elevator Pitches”
Assist with white papers
Administrator for the ACT! Contact Database including:
Add and update customer contacts
Database maintenance
Create reports as required to assist Sales
Liaise with ACT! Customer Support / ACT! consultants and users
KNOWLEDGE
Strong working knowledge of:
Visual marketing techniques
Social media marketing
Website development / maintenance
Creative writing
Data analysis / analytics
Search engine optimization / maintenance
Project management
Research
The use of contact databases
SKILLS
Proficient in the use of computers, software, and business machines including:
Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Software for creating sales collateral such as Adobe InDesign or Microsoft Publisher
ACT! contact database
Tools: InDesign, HubSpot, Canva, project management tools, Google Suite Ads, Search Console, Analytics, LinkedIn, Instagram Business Manager
Telephone, copier, scanner, laminator
Business writing
Compose thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely, using proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling
ABILITY
Effective in communication and negotiation
Gather content from technical and commercial resources
Creatively and effectively communicate product capabilities / advantages to a diverse audience
Influence customers to choose company solutions for appropriate applications

Direct hire with benefits
Part-time, 30 hours/week (flexible); can be 6 hours per day Monday-Friday or broken into shorter hours some days and longer others as long as it adds up to 30 but must be established in advance
Salary range: $70K
Must pass drug and background screenings
