AI Product Senior Design Lead Senior Vice President (Hybrid)

Responsibilities
Lead hands-on, pixel-perfect UX/UI design, including conceptualization, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design.
Design user-centric, accessible (ADA/WCAG compliant) experiences for AI-powered products and services, ensuring consistency across platforms and devices.
Utilize specialist design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) for all design deliverables.
Plan and conduct comprehensive UX research, including defining information architecture, user journeys, creating personas, and performing usability testing to validate design decisions.
Apply Design Thinking methodologies to solve complex user and business problems. Ability to plan and lead design thinking workshops.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, articulating the strategic value of design and guiding them through the UX process.
Lead and facilitate cross-functional collaboration with product management, engineering, business analysts, and other teams to co-create solutions and build consensus.
Ensure seamless design handovers to development teams, providing clear specifications and ongoing support through UX review checkpoints to maintain design quality.
Actively gather requirements from users, clients, and project sponsors through effective meeting leadership.
Strategic Impact & Continuous Improvement
Champion user-centric design within the organization, identifying and leveraging data/metrics to inform and support design decisions.
Contribute to and maintain design systems, standards, and best practices across all projects.
Continuously monitor industry trends, best practices in UX design and AI technology to drive innovation and improve design processes and workflows.
Provide thought leadership and evangelize the value of UX across the wider organization and the professional community.
Manage project timelines, identify and mitigate risks, ensuring on-time delivery.
Team Development & Mentorship
Mentor and develop junior design team members, providing constructive feedback, coaching, and guidance to foster growth and ensure high-quality output.
Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience
Provide Design Portfolio
Strong attention to detail & analytical skills
Significant experience on complex, enterprise-scale design projects
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Excellent skills in professional design tools e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
Significant experience using/creating design systems
Significant aptitude for coaching and mentoring junior designers
Keen interest in, or knowledge of, banking or finance - preferred
Participation in external UX groups or communities - preferred
Education
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
At least one formal UX Qualification

Salary Range: $192,000.00 - $288,000.00
