3D Graphic Designer (Tradeshow Booths & Experiential Activations) Type:

T Palmer Agency is seeking an exceptionally skilled 3D Graphic Designer who specializes in tradeshow booth design, experiential activations, and event layout visualization. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity and functionality, transforming brand stories into immersive environments that demand attention.

You’ll collaborate closely with our event producers, creative technologists, and client strategy leads to concept, design, and render high-impact spaces for top-tier clients across fintech, insurtech, consumer tech, and lifestyle brands.

Key Responsibilities

Concept, design, and render 3D tradeshow booths, experiential activations, event spaces, kiosks, and pop-ups.

Produce high-fidelity renderings, animations, and fly-throughs that clearly communicate design intent.

Translate brand guidelines into immersive physical environments that align with client goals.

Event Layouts & Production-Ready Files

Create accurate floor plans, elevations, and exploded diagrams for fabrication teams.

Prepare production‑ready technical files for builders, fabricators, and print vendors.

Ensure all specs meet tradeshow and venue guidelines (ADA, fire code, traffic flow, etc.).

Creative Concepting

Participate in brainstorms to ideate and visualize creative directions for booths and interactive event experiences.

Explore innovative materials, structures, lighting concepts, and digital integrations (LED walls, touchscreens, AR elements, etc.).

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work with project managers, event producers, and client leads to meet deadlines and client expectations.

Revise designs based on feedback while maintaining design integrity and feasibility.

Required Skills & Experience

3–5+ years of experience in 3D design specifically for tradeshows, events, experiential marketing, or retail environments.

Expert proficiency in Cinema4D, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Blender, or similar 3D software.

Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Demonstrated experience creating photo‑realistic renderings and accurate event layouts.

Understanding of fabrication methods, materials, print specs, and environmental design principles.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Portfolio Requirements A strong portfolio is REQUIRED for consideration and must include:

Tradeshow booth designs

3D experiential activations

Renderings and/or animations

Production‑ready files or examples that showcase technical accuracy

Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with LED integration, motion graphics, or real‑time rendering (Unreal Engine / Unity).

Knowledge of fabrication constraints, scenic construction, and experiential A/V.
