The Interior Designer/Architectural Designer will create innovative and functional design solutions that elevate client experiences and align with project objectives. This role involves developing interior layouts, selecting materials, and producing visual presentations while coordinating with cross‑functional teams and consultants. The position offers exposure to diverse projects, requiring a balance of creativity, technical expertise, and attention to detail. The designer will actively contribute to projects from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with codes, budgets, and schedules. This is a hybrid‑remote role with opportunities for collaboration in the office and occasional site visits.
Accountabilities
Develop interior and architectural designs that meet client goals, project criteria, and budget requirements.
Conduct space planning, feasibility studies, and create detailed 2D/3D drawings, renderings, and presentations.
Select and specify finishes, furniture, fixtures, and materials in line with project design vision.
Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA regulations, and sustainability standards.
Collaborate with project architects, senior designers, managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate design elements.
Participate in site visits, surveys, and construction administration to oversee design implementation.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively while maintaining quality and consistency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
5–10 years of professional experience in interior or architectural design.
NCIDQ certification or architectural licensure preferred, or actively pursuing.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3D modeling/rendering software, Adobe Creative Suite, Teams, and MS Office.
Strong graphic, communication, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, sustainable design principles, and construction documentation.
Experience in material selection, procurement, and managing project budgets.
Ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate effectively, and problem‑solve creatively.
LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design practices is a plus.
Experience in commercial, hospitality, or workplace design preferred.
Familiarity with MEP coordination, material sourcing, and furniture procurement is advantageous.
