Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Copywriter to join our Marketing team. As a Senior Copywriter, you will work with our B2B Industry Marketers, SEO, and Design teams to plan, conceptualize, write, and edit B2B marketing content for various online brands. Your writing will drive engagement, elevate thought leadership, and generate demand for sales leads. While B2B writing will be the primary focus, this role may occasionally involve B2C writing to support broader marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate has extensive content marketing experience, a deep understanding of SEO and B2B content strategy, and the ability to maintain a consistent brand identity while adjusting voice and tone to suit various audiences.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with B2B Industry Marketers and instructional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create B2B marketing copy for websites, campaigns, and digital channels, including short- and long-form content.
Own end-to-end production of gated assets, collaborating with SMEs, Design, and B2B Industry Marketers.
Develop and refine personalized activating content for account-based marketing (ABM) targets, including ads, nurture emails and landing pages.
Script and edit content for multimedia projects such as podcasts and videos.
Test and refine brand-owned content, including SEO-based landing pages, blogs, white papers, and case studies.
Write occasional B2C-focused content, including SEO articles, landing pages and product descriptions.
Adapt your writing style to appeal to target audiences across a variety of industries and product verticals.
Maintain a clear and consistent brand voice, adhering to AP Style and brand-specific style guides.
Job Requirements
Strong B2B writing experience (with online portfolio to share).
5+ years’ experience in copywriting, preferably in B2B marketing or eCommerce.
Proven ability to create demand-generation content and thought leadership that drives measurable results.
Ability to write clearly, accurately, and persuasively across multiple formats and audiences (B2B and B2C).
Experience leveraging buyer personas and mapping content to specific audiences and funnel stages.
Deep understanding of content marketing strategies, ABM principles, and UX writing fundamentals.
Experience conducting keyword research and implementing SEO-driven content updates.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, English or Journalism.
Experience creating B2B or eCommerce content for regulated industries.
Experience writing for multimedia formats such as podcasts, webinars, and videos.
Experience in eLearning industry.
A portfolio that includes some long-form B2B assets (white papers/ebooks), ABM or paid ad samples, and multimedia scripts.
