The Technical Program Manager ensures the smooth implementation and operation of Post Production workflows supporting Stadium Entertainment at the FIFA World Cup 26™. The role focuses on coordinating across FIFA Entertainment, HBS teams, and external suppliers to align requirements, manage expectations, and deliver reliable solutions. A key responsibility is to ensure that ingest, editing, and content distribution workflows run seamlessly, meet quality standards, and are delivered on time to support world‑class event delivery.
- Oversee the implementation of editing, ingest, and distribution facilities at the venues in line with project requirements and timelines.
- Coordinate across internal teams, workflow specialists, IT, and external vendors to ensure operational readiness.
- Track schedules, milestones, and reporting to guarantee availability ahead of matchday operations.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and management of technical operational staff.
- Provide operational guidance to ensure teams follow workflows consistently.
- Act as the escalation point for technical and workflow issues during live operations.
Live Operations & Support
- Serve as the technical and operational lead for ingest and distribution during live match days and ceremonies.
- Monitor pipelines in real time and coordinate issue resolution under time-critical conditions.
- Maintain communication between edit suites, ingest operators, gallery teams, and technical support.
Documentation & Reporting
- Develop and maintain SOPs, workflow documentation, and operational records.
- Provide daily operational updates and incident/risk reports.
- Lead post-event reviews and contribute to continuous improvement for future events.
Is it really for me?
- 5+ years of Program, Project, or Product Management experience.
- Experience with production workflows, particularly in:
- Asset management and content delivery for fast turnaround use cases.
- Adobe creative tools including Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator.
- Workflow orchestration and ingest-to-edit pipelines.
- Transcode and content conversion processes.
- File delivery workflows, including accelerated and cloud-based distribution.
- Strong understanding of processes and frameworks needed to deliver large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities and handling short-notice changes.
- Comfort with ambiguity but ability to dive into technical detail when required.
- Background working at a broadcaster, service provider, or major event organiser in a relevant technical capacity.
- Experience managing RFPs, contracts, budgets, and supplier relationships.
What will you be working on
- Lead the end-to-end development, implementation, and day‑to‑day operations of Post Production workflows for the FIFA World Cup 26™.
- Partner closely with FIFA’s Studio, Technical, and Infrastructure teams, as well as third-party suppliers, to deliver world‑class, reliable, and efficient Post Production solutions for the event.
