Responsibilities

We’re looking for an innovative and culturally fluent leader to shape the future of creator marketing within the luxury and cultural landscape. As Vice President, Creator & Cultural Strategy, you’ll be both a strategic thinker and a creative force + a connector of ideas, people, and cultural moments.

You’ll be embedded at the heart of ideation, guiding clients and internal teams on what’s now, what’s next, and what’s never been done before in the world of social creators and influencer partnerships. You’ll bring a point of view that’s rooted in deep cultural insight and an instinct for what (and who) will move the needle.

This role goes far beyond title or tenure. We’re looking for someone with an instinctive pulse on culture. You’re not just leading influencer marketing; you live it. You know who’s next, what formats are emerging, and where new creative collaborations are taking shape. You’re as comfortable riffing ideas in a room as you are architecting a full-scale partnership, are able to spark concepts from nothing and turn cultural momentum into meaningful brand moments.

Responsibilities:
  • Thought Leadership & Cultural Innovation
    • Serve as a cultural and creative thought leader for both the agency and our clients — offering an informed POV on what’s shaping culture and how brands can authentically show up.
    • Anticipate and identify emerging creator trends, platform innovations, and storytelling formats that are redefining the luxury space.
    • Lead with creativity and curiosity, pushing boundaries through unexpected collaborations and cutting-edge social influencer activations.
  • Strategic Ideation & Campaign Development
    • Be in the room from the start, shaping RFPs, campaign concepts, and creative strategy through insight-led creator thinking.
    • Generate original, strategic, and forward-thinking ideas centered around social creators who bring cultural relevance and originality to the work.
    • Partner closely with Creative, Strategy, and Account teams to integrate creator thinking into the core of every campaign concept.
  • Creator Network & Casting Leadership
    • Build, maintain, and expand a best-in-class network of social creators, influencers, and cultural connectors across NYC, LA, and beyond.
    • Have an instinctive pulse on who’s influential now and who’s next across luxury, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and digital culture.
    • Bring an existing rolodex of creators, tastemakers, and industry insiders, people you know personally and can call, text, or tap for collaboration at a moment’s notice.
    • Effortlessly rattle off social creators who would be a perfect fit for a campaign or brand. You just know who’s right, what they bring, and why they’ll resonate.
    • Curate diverse, fresh, and conversation-driving creator lists that elevate campaigns, push creative boundaries, and shape brand storytelling in unexpected ways.
  • Client Partnership & Influence
    • Act as a trusted advisor and cultural expert to senior clients, confidently presenting ideas, offering perspective, and pushing thinking forward.
    • Lead client conversations with authority and creativity, inspiring confidence and excitement around creator strategy.
    • Build long‑term relationships with clients who trust your expertise and rely on your vision for what’s next.
    • Be actively present with clients, in‑office and in‑person, fostering strong creative collaboration and partnership that drives innovation and connection.
  • Cultural Immersion & Agency Impact
    • Represent Day One as a cultural leader, being present at key events, cultivating relationships, and helping shape the agency’s creative influence in the social creator space.
    • Collaborate with leadership to evolve our creator and casting philosophy, tools, and approach.
