The Manager, Influencer & Direct Partnership is responsible for leading day‑to‑day influencer marketing and direct partnership programs across the media department. This role oversees creator sourcing, campaign execution, performance tracking and ongoing optimization to ensure programs deliver measurable impact. The ideal candidate has experience managing influencer programs across social platforms, negotiating creator partnerships, and activating campaigns that support broader paid media and brand objectives. This role collaborates closely with internal media, social, creative, and analytics teams, as well as external creators, agencies and platform partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day influencer and direct partnership programs, ensuring campaigns run efficiently and deliver against KPIs.
- Oversee sourcing, vetting, and onboarding of creators across tiers (nano to macro), ensuring high‑quality content and audience alignment.
- Lead negotiation of campaign rates, usage rights, deliverables, and timelines with influencers or talent management teams.
- Develop campaign briefs and ensure creators receive clear guidance aligned with brand and media objectives.
- Manage campaign workflows including contracting, content reviews, approvals, posting schedules, and optimization.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with paid media, social, and e‑commerce strategies.
- Track campaign metrics, including engagement, reach, conversions, and cost efficiency; provide performance readouts and recommendations.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to implement measurement frameworks including link tracking, promo codes, pixels, or platform reporting.
- Collaborate with Ad Operations team asset tracking and delivery for direct partners.
- Maintain strong understanding of platform trends, creator behaviors, and FTC/ASA compliance requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliation processes related to influencer and direct spend.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in influencer marketing or direct publisher management.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating rates and managing paid creator relationships across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging channels.
- Strong understanding of influencer tools and platforms (e.g., CreatorIQ, Tagger, GRIN, Aspire, IMAI or equivalent).
- Experience working with paid media teams to integrate influencer assets into paid social and programmatic amplification.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and optimize based on insights.
- Familiarity with MediaOcean suite of products, primarily Prisma, is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of FTC regulations, platform policies, and creator contract best practices.
- Experience negotiating with direct partners across CPM/CPC/CPE/CPA/flat/hybrid models.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously under tight timelines.
