Our client, a global clothing brand, is looking for a Senior Visual Merchandising Designer on a temp to perm basis, ASAP!
MUST have 3D examples!
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design projects, including creation of renderings, asset development, and visual presentations for windows and in-store displays.
- Develop window display concepts incorporating mannequins, propping, fixtures, and marketing materials.
- Manage and mentor junior designers, providing creative direction and feedback.
- Ensure all communication is clear, concise, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align visual merchandising, store design, and marketing collateral.
- Maintain consistent project organization and timelines while managing multiple deliverables.
- Oversee VMD budgeting and finance processes, including PO management and use of COUPA or related platforms.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in visual merchandising design
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Basic working knowledge of 3D modeling programs (e.g., Google SketchUp, Adobe Dimension).
- Strong visual and spatial design skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and a collaborative team player.
- Able to work independently and manage projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings and weekends based on business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design, or related field preferred — or equivalent professional experience.
