Job Description:
The Department of Media + Design + Communication at the Feinstein School of Humanities, Arts and Education (SHAE) at Roger Williams University invites applications for adjunct faculty to join our team of dedicated educators. The curriculum draws from a transdisciplinary liberal arts environment to provide educational experiences that prepare students to be lifelong learners, professionals, and global citizens.
We seek educators with demonstrated ability to support and promote diversity and inclusion, in both pedagogy and curricular development.
The primary responsibility of this faculty member will be to teach the undergraduate course in Public Speaking, from a community-engaged, social justice perspective. There may also be opportunities to occasionally teach additional Communication Studies-based courses in the program.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree (PhD preferred) in Communication Studies, or a related discipline at the time of appointment, and have at least two years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
