Our client, a leading organization in the technology and engineering sector, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Documentation Support team supporting internal teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Writer

Location: San Jose, CA

Pay Range: $38.50 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Transform complex technical concepts into clear, concise documentation for internal use.

  • Partner with technicians, engineers, managers, and subject-matter experts to gather and validate technical information.

  • Develop and update documentation using standardized templates within the Integrated Management System (IMS).

  • Create structured outlines and incorporate graphics, diagrams, and screenshots to illustrate procedures and workflows.

  • Manage documentation projects by planning timelines, tracking progress, and escalating risks as needed.

What's Needed?

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in technical writing or related fields.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong research and interviewing abilities with a keen eye for detail.

  • Knowledge of or experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

  • Ability to work locally in San Jose, CA, with standard working hours and no overtime required.
