Professional Bull Riders
Position Summary/Objective
The PBR seeks an aspiring Feature Content Producer who values creating and producing dynamic content that brings to life the story vs reporting the news – and experience to prove it. He (or she) should have a firm understanding of editorial and production workflow for broadcast and digital platforms; a clear understanding of visual journalism; non‑linear editing skills; and the ability to create both short‑form and long‑form productions. The Feature Content Producer must be highly organized, thrive under pressure, and be fully proficient in non‑linear edit systems such as Adobe Creative Suite and Avid. The Content Producer must be comfortable collaborating with managers and designers and work in a deadline‑driven environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Create and modify scripts to become familiar with production concepts and requirements
Must have strong organizational skills with a high level of self‑motivation, technical aptitude and excellent visual sense
Edit original video content in Avid Media Composer or similar non‑linear edit system
Ability to work with a tapeless workflow and the ability to manage a digital‑only archive
Work with the coordinating producer / broadcast producer / digital content team to learn the objectives and expectations of the project to determine the best way to approach the work and deliver on those expectations
Offer innovative or creative ideas that add value to video projects
Create dynamic storytelling commercials and/or short‑form video content that will be used in broadcast in‑arena elements and social media
Demonstrate the ability to direct on‑location shoots, set overall visual concept and manage ENG cinematographer / audio tech as a crew or part of a team
Ensure that all pictures and sounds are the highest quality and properly recorded
Able to troubleshoot quickly and effectively in a variety of circumstances

Create and tell a story effectively from concept ideas through post‑production
Superior project management, organizational, prioritization, and follow‑up skills
Coordinate project needs with other internal teams
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure and with multiple deadlines
Ability to adapt easily to rapidly changing conditions associated with a nationally televised sports entertainment environment
Editing & Post‑Production
Complete projects from start to finish: concept development, filming, editing, and final delivery
Edit video content for multiple platforms (broadcast, digital, and social), often on quick turnaround timelines
Build polished, engaging stories with strong pacing, sound design, graphics integration, and clear narrative flow
Adapt edits into different formats (short‑form, long‑form, vertical, horizontal) for platform needs
Manage media assets, project files, and exports to ensure efficiency and consistency across all deliverables
Education & Formal Training
Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Broadcast Media or Digital Cinema preferred or 2 or more years’ equivalent work experience
Preferred proficiency in Avid (and Premiere)
Experience
2 years’ experience working in videography, TV (preferably in the sports and entertainment arena in a customer or client service capacity)
Working Conditions
Weekday / Weekend hours
The position is 50% producer/director, 50% editing
Ability to travel to events as needed based on the business
Extended hours as well as weekend work may be required based on the business
Position is located in the Fort Worth, TX area
Location: Fort Worth, TX – Salary: $60,000–$75,000.
