Job Description:
As a full‑time Insurance Verification and Authorization Specialist Lead, you work closely with the Team Leader to verify all new patient accounts and perform related tasks.

Insurance Verification and Authorization Specialist Lead
Location:
16 Maybrook Road, Campbell Hall, NY 10916
Type:
Full‑time (Monday – Friday, 7:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.)
Salary:
$21.63–$31.00 per hour, based on experience
Review insurance benefits for accuracy
Utilize payor portals to establish patient benefits
Communicate benefits to clinic staff
Test accuracy of patient benefit information
Complete daily action item requirements
Comply with confidentiality requirements per HIPAA policies
Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations
Handle patient payment information securely
Escalate compliance concerns to supervisor or compliance committee
Use strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills to work with patients
Analyze data for statistics, navigate EMR, and work in a fast‑paced environment
Demonstrate organizational skills, self‑starter attitude, high energy, and professionalism aligned with company culture
