SUMMARY

Grand Sierra Resort, voted Best Hotel and Gaming Resort in Reno multiple years in a row, is seeking a talented Marketing Videographer/Photographer to create compelling visual content that elevates our brand across advertising, social media, digital marketing, and event coverage. This role combines creativity and technical expertise to produce high-quality video and photography for all resort areas and sister properties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: • Serve as the primary videographer and photographer for marketing campaigns, social media, and promotional content. • Capture and edit high-quality video and photography for events, lifestyle, architectural, and product imagery. • Produce content from concept to completion, including shooting, editing, and final delivery for digital and broadcast channels. • Create visually engaging assets using video, photography, motion graphics, and audio elements. • Produce a variety of content types including promotional videos, training/how-to videos, social media content, and rich media ads. • Maintain and organize the brand's digital asset library; ensure timely updates to third-party platforms. • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop visual storytelling aligned with brand standards and ensure consistency in branding and layout across all visual assets. • Manage production timelines and deliverables to meet marketing objectives in a fast-paced environment. • Stay current on trends in video, photography, and social media content creation. • Occasionally coordinate with external vendors for large-scale productions. • Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this job description.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES • Expert knowledge of camera operation, lighting setup, audio capture, and related production equipment. • Expertise in crafting visually compelling compositions and cinematic storytelling through photography and video. • Advanced post-production skills: ability to edit and craft compelling narratives using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Audition), and related tools. • Knowledge of social media best practices and digital advertising formats. • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays to cover entertainment and special events. • Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced casino environment, while effectively dealing with guests, Team Members and others. • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience. • A minimum of 5 years of professional photography and videography experience.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES • Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License & Alcohol Awareness card.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull during the duration of their shift. The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands for frequent grasping motions, occasional firm/strong grasping motions, as well as handle and feel. May reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, lift, and push/pull. Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT • Work performed indoors and outdoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment. Work environment may include concert, nightlife and other events where noise levels can be high. This role requires occasional assignments away from the primary work location to support company initiatives and events.
