About the Role

As a Graphics Associate Designer at Old Navy, you will immerse yourself in the creative process right from the start. You will support the Graphics team in producing daily designs filled with fun and optimism while broadening your skills in research, art creation, and production. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in delivering seasonal captivating artwork.

What You'll Do

  • Stay attuned to seasonal graphic trends, assisting graphics leads in delivering insightful Art Director analyses through research both online and in-store.
  • Support the creation of seasonal trend boards as needed.
  • Design eye-catching and on-trend apparel graphics that resonate with Old Navy's seasonal family themes.
  • Explore opportunities for innovation, leveraging graphic trend forecasts to elevate your designs.
  • Collaborate with specialized graphics leads in your division and present design concepts during product reviews.
  • Ensure all graphic and production reviews are well-documented and that action points are communicated effectively.
  • Prepare and maintain graphic production files according to seasonal timelines and production requirements.
  • Assist in elevating graphic programs, ensuring alignment with style and material considerations.
  • Review production samples with the Senior Graphic Designer for quality assurance and accurate execution.
  • Utilize Sharepoint for delivering graphic artwork files while keeping all parties updated.
  • Establish and maintain seasonal color palettes.
  • Support daily communication and execution of the division's graphics processes from inception to production.
  • Provide necessary development details to the Senior Designer during legal reviews.
  • Ensure timely delivery of relevant images to the Senior Designer following artwork deadlines.

Who You Are

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative atmosphere, capable of managing multiple seasons and meeting development deadlines.
  • Possesses a keen understanding of style, color, and aesthetic trends, effectively translating these into engaging designs.
  • Holds substantial knowledge of garment silhouette, fit, fabrication, construction, and techniques.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel.
  • Can analyze problems creatively and present solutions effectively.

Salary Range: $66,900 - $85,400 USD

Compensation will vary based on factors including qualifications, experience, skills, and location.
