Community Manager – Ernest Ready‑Made Warehouse
Location: Asheville, NC — Full‑time hourly position.
Salary: $48,513.81 – $58,425.23 per year.

Ernest is a co‑warehousing space that supports every facet of eCommerce. We provide boutique fulfillment, 3PL services, and a collaborative workspace for local entrepreneurs looking to grow beyond their garage.
Core Responsibilities
- Build and grow a vibrant community across social media, forums, and other platforms.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content (posts, articles, videos) that keeps members informed and connected.
- Moderate discussions, respond to comments, and ensure a positive, inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with admin, customer service, and warehouse teams to share feedback, maintain brand consistency, and align on campaigns.
- Monitor community metrics and analyze engagement data to refine strategies.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with community advocates, influencers, and brand ambassadors.
- Help shape community offerings and continuously improve member experience.
- Deeply understand member needs and effectively demonstrate how Ernest can support growth.
Typical Duties
- Monitor social media accounts for brand mentions and engage in real‑time conversations.
- Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and feedback promptly and authentically.
- Post marketing collateral and content across the company’s online channels.
- Organize and execute virtual or in‑person events, contests, and discussions.
- Conduct regular analysis of engagement rates and report on performance.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create effective visual and written materials.
- Stay up‑to‑date on industry trends and competitor activity.
- Keep the space comfortable: ensure WiFi works, general space function, and coffee is brewing.
- Administrative customer support duties as needed.
- Demonstrate benefits of our customer online portal, give demos, and onboard new members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Experience in B2B marketing, business development, or brand management.
- Proven track record of driving growth through strategic marketing.
- Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation skills.
- Understanding of customer experience.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and social media tools.
- Experience in service‑based and/or logistics/eCommerce industries is a plus.
- Passion for entrepreneurship, community building, and customer service excellence.
- Curiosity and meticulous attention to detail are a must.
