Fogarty Finger Architecture is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented

Intermediate Interior Architectural Designer

to join our growing Boston team. This role focuses on supporting the development, coordination, and production of project documents from schematic design through construction administration. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with a collaborative mindset and a desire to grow into greater project autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with all project phases, including schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.

Prepare drawing sets, 3D models, and design documentation in Revit following firm standards.

Coordinate drawings and consultant information under the guidance of senior staff.

Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA regulations, and industry standards.

Support the development of technical solutions and construction details in collaboration with the design team.

Help ensure compliance with building codes, ADA regulations, and industry standards.

Organize and present project information to internal teams and consultants.

Support the preparation and filing of permit and construction documents.

Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals with senior staff oversight.

Conduct site visits and help document construction progress.

Manage multiple tasks and timelines across concurrent projects.

Identify potential issues and elevate concerns proactively to senior team members.

Requirements

Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

3–6 years

of professional experience in architectural or interior design documentation.

Proficiency in

Revit

required.

Experience with AutoCAD, 3D modeling tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Teams.

Familiarity with MS Office Suite and project management software (Newforma or Procore preferred).

Strong understanding of building systems, materials, and construction methods.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.

Interest in mentorship and professional growth.

Actively pursuing architectural licensure (or registered architect).

Preferred

LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable design practices.

Experience in commercial, hospitality, or workplace design.
