The Opportunity Are you passionate about uncovering the story behind the numbers? Orion180 is seeking a Data & Marketing Insights Analyst to power our marketing strategy with robust, data‑driven intelligence.

What You’ll Do

Data Collection & Integration – Aggregate data from HubSpot, CRM, ad platforms, and internal systems to create unified, accurate, and scalable marketing datasets.

Performance Analytics & Forecasting – Conduct deep‑dive analyses on campaign ROI, customer acquisition cost (CAC), conversion rates, retention, and engagement metrics. Use predictive analytics and statistical modeling to forecast outcomes and identify growth opportunities.

Attribution & Channel Optimization – Build and maintain multi‑touch attribution models using GA4, GTM, and BI dashboards to quantify the impact of each channel on conversions.

Campaign & Funnel Insights – Partner with the marketing team to evaluate performance of digital and traditional campaigns (SEO, PPC, social media, email, and direct mail) and recommend data‑backed optimizations.

Data Visualization & Reporting – Develop interactive dashboards and executive summaries in Power BI and Excel to present marketing performance KPIs and strategic trends clearly and visually.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Orion180’s Business Intelligence (BI) and Product Analytics teams to align marketing performance insights with financial and operational objectives.

Process Automation & Governance – Streamline data pipelines and automate recurring reports using SQL, VBA, and Python/R scripts to enhance accuracy, speed, and scalability.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field.

2–4 years of experience in data analytics, marketing analytics, or business intelligence roles.

Proven experience translating analytical insights into business strategies and executive recommendations.

Prior exposure to insurance, financial services, or SaaS/tech environments preferred.

Technical Proficiency

SQL – Advanced querying, data joins, and performance tuning.

Excel – Strong analytical modeling, pivot tables, and dashboard automation.

Power BI – Creating visuals, DAX measures, and interactive reporting.

HubSpot CRM or equivalent marketing automation platforms.

GA4, GTM, and digital ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn).

Bonus: Experience in Python or R for data cleaning, regression analysis, and forecasting models.

Analytical Strengths

Strong understanding of marketing funnel metrics, statistical inference, and performance attribution.

High proficiency in data storytelling – simplifying complex data into actionable insights.

Detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to identify trends and anomalies.

Work Environment While performing general duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and/or walk around (including the use of stairs).
