About the Role
The Digital Advertising Specialist works cross-functionally within the digital marketing and account management teams to create, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns that drive traffic, convert sales, and increase brand awareness. You'll be comfortable setting up, creating, and constantly optimizing campaigns through various channels such as Meta, Google, Programmatic, TikTok, and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate brings a data-driven mindset, analytical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex strategies to clients effectively.
This is an in-person position based out of our office in north Phoenix, Arizona. Please do not apply if you are not able to work in the office five days a week.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management & Optimization
Set up, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns including SEM, PPC, social media, and display advertising
Conduct A/B testing on variables within campaigns to optimize results and improve effectiveness
Manage campaign budgets and schedules, ensuring timely delivery and maximum ROI
Identify trends and adjust ad spend and strategies accordingly to maximize performance
Analyze current and prospective client digital positions to make recommendations for enhanced performance
Creative Development
Create static display ad images using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
Produce basic video ads for digital campaigns
Develop ad creative variations for A/B testing
Ensure all ad creative meets platform specifications and brand guidelines
Analytics & Reporting
Monitor performance of digital marketing campaigns against predefined goals (ROI and KPIs)
Provide comprehensive reports to clients and generate custom reports on request
Measure and report on all aspects of digital campaigns using analytics platforms
Conduct data analysis to identify performance trends and optimization opportunities
Experience with tracking/UTM setups, debugging, and monitoring
Effectively communicate with clients, explaining strategies and presenting results through reports and charts
Generate monthly reports that provide additional data, identify performance trends, and offer recommendations
Support sales and service teams in assessing and recommending digital marketing campaigns
Maintain elevated professionalism and tact when dealing with high-level clients
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with design, content, social, and creative teams to improve campaign performance
Coordinate with account managers to align campaign strategy with client objectives
Provide business development support throughout the campaign lifecycle
Collaborate on market research and competitive analysis
Required Qualifications
Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Analytics, or related field (preferred)
2+ years of hands‑on ad account management in an agency setting
Experience managing $100K+ budgets and campaigns for multiple clients
Proven track record of campaign optimization and performance improvement
Technical Skills
Deep understanding of digital advertising execution and best practices for optimization
Experience with Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and other major ad platforms
Proficiency in data analytics, analysis, and reporting tools
Microsoft Excel and Google Suite experience (ad hoc reporting from multiple data sources)
Experience with tracking/UTM setups, debugging, and monitoring
Basic graphic design skills using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Ability to create static display ads and basic video ads for digital campaigns
Google AdWords and Analytics certification (preferred)
Analytical & Strategic Abilities
Highly analytical with ability to understand all angles of digital marketing
Highly detailed with ability to analyze and identify conflicts, errors, or insights within large datasets
Able to make data‑driven recommendations to improve campaign performance
Experience dealing with B2C and B2B campaigns successfully

Prior work experience at an advertising or marketing agency
Experience in the firearms, outdoors, hunting, and fishing industries
Experience with national or regional‑level campaigns
Deep knowledge of firearm products, brands, and industry trends
Personal experience with firearms, hunting, fishing, or outdoor sports
Understanding of firearms regulations, compliance, and advertising restrictions
Experience working with third‑party booking engines
Advanced graphic design or motion graphics skills

Salary
$60,000 – $75,000 per year (based on experience)
