Join a creative project focused on transforming travel footage into captivating Instagram Reels. This role involves editing short-form videos that highlight the warmth, emotion, and aesthetic of a trip to Thailand, tailored for a psychology and mental health brand. The content should evoke a sense of calm and psychological wellbeing, using brand colors (green and gold) and a natural, soothing style. You will work with raw footage provided via Dropbox or Google Drive, delivering polished Reels in a vertical 9:16 format. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for storytelling, a strong sense of visual style, and the ability to deliver high-quality edits quickly. This project offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing social media presence and may lead to additional assignments.
Deliverables
- Edit multiple Instagram Reels (vertical 9:16) from provided family travel footage
- Apply light color correction to enhance a warm, natural look
- Incorporate simple text overlays and natural transitions (no flashy effects)
- Align all edits with brand colors (green and gold) and a calm, aesthetic vibe
- Optionally source and add Instagram-safe music
- Ensure quick turnaround (1–3 days per Reel)
- Collaborate remotely, receiving and delivering files via Dropbox or Google Drive
Requirements
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
- Experience editing short-form social media content, especially Instagram Reels
- Strong sense of visual storytelling and attention to detail
- Ability to match brand guidelines and color palettes
- Reliable, responsive, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Understanding of copyright-safe music sourcing for social platforms
- Interest in psychology, mental health, or lifestyle content is a plus
- Available for immediate start and open to potential follow-up work
