Join the Disney Corporate Creative Resources (DCCR) event technical production team, where we specialize in exceptional virtual, hybrid, and in-person event execution! Our team is an integral part of a full-service department dedicated to managing creative and turnkey corporate events, which include everything from meetings and town halls to summits and conferences. With hundreds of events conducted each year, we are seeking a passionate Events Technical Producer to ensure the flawless technical delivery of our high-impact productions.
The Events Technical Producer will be instrumental in overseeing the complete planning and execution of the technical elements of our events. From initial consultations with clients to on-site operations during events, this role requires a hands-on approach, with responsibilities spanning audio production, lighting, video, staging, and overall event management. The successful candidate will not only be adept in technical production but will also thrive in fast-paced environments, juggling multiple priorities while ensuring high-quality technical execution.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, design, manage, and operate audiovisual components for corporate events and virtual meetings, engaging daily with various equipment and setups.

Provide expertise on event technology, helping clients understand their needs, budget requirements, and best practices for successful events.

Recruit and lead local technical support staff during events, ensuring coordinated efforts during setup, execution, and takedown.

Oversee audiovisual budgets, ensuring all expenditures align with project goals.
Minimum Experience & Skills:

5+ years in technical event production.

1+ year in a corporate event production environment.

Proficient in virtual meeting and webcasting production.

Background in technical direction and experience managing production teams.

A self-starter with excellent organizational abilities.

Capability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to dynamic situations.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to inspire and guide team members.

In-depth technical understanding of audio, video, lighting systems, and production design.

Hands-on experience with Yamaha CL1, Rio 3224-D2, Riedel DSP2312, and other key technologies.

Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Zoom, Keynote, PowerPoint, and relevant industry software.

Familiarity with staging and technical labor regulations.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Able to lift up to 50lbs.
Preferred Experience & Skills:

Stage management and show calling expertise.

Creative involvement in live theater, music, or video production.

Experience with event technology platforms for webcasting and online registration.

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere.

Experience with ETC EOS Lighting console operation.

Knowledge of the Disney brand and corporate culture.
Education Requirements:

AA degree in theatre, hospitality management, live event technical production, or related trade.
Preferred Education:

Bachelor's degree in theatre, hospitality management, or live event technical production.
Compensation: The hiring range for this position in NYC is $91,200 - $122,300 per year. Actual salary will reflect internal equity and may vary based on geographic location, skills, knowledge, and experience. The role may include additional benefits such as bonuses and comprehensive medical packages.
