Role Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the development of innovative Augmented Reality (AR) experiences that captivate a global audience.

  2. Collaborate closely with product teams to uncover and define exciting creative opportunities for AR on Instagram.

  3. Utilize concept sketches, storyboards, product mock-ups, and high-fidelity prototypes to guide the product development process.

  4. Create visually stunning content across various styles and media, including illustration, photography, video, animation, and more.

  5. Work in unison with a multidisciplinary team to bring a cohesive creative vision to fruition.

  6. Enjoy the flexibility of telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in fields such as Computer Art, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related area is required, alongside 24 months of relevant experience.

  2. A minimum of 24 months of experience in any of the following areas is essential:

  3. Experience working in a creative agency, in-house team, or editorial setting with expertise in two or more of the following design disciplines: 2D/3D design, motion graphics, interactive or game design.

  4. Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, After Effects, Figma, Maya/C4D, and SparkAR/Unity.

  5. A background in AR/VR or interactive design, with knowledge of relevant technology and workflows.

  6. Ability to effectively communicate design concepts.

Compensation:

The compensation for this role ranges from $169,246 to $199,980 annually, in addition to bonuses, equity, and benefits.
