About the Role

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Creative Instructional Designer for a dynamic 6-month hybrid contract in the financial services sector. This position is based in Draper, UT, and is designed for individuals who are passionate about developing engaging and effective learning experiences through innovative instructional design.

Position Overview

The Creative Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining compelling learning materials to support our Risk Operations team. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to produce visually engaging and effective learning solutions that align with our organizational goals and brand standards.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and develop engaging learning programs and materials tailored to Risk Operations.
  • Create content that is suitable for digital, blended, and instructor-led formats, ensuring consistent visual and instructional quality.
  • Propose and implement innovative learning solutions to address skill and performance gaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to establish clear learning objectives and success metrics.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships across teams to align learning programs with business priorities.
  • Manage multiple projects using project management tools like Asana.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Analyze learner engagement and outcomes to continuously improve learning experiences.

Required Tools & Technologies:

  • Experience with Asana (project management).
  • Familiarity with Docebo (LMS).
  • Proficiency in Articulate 360 / Rise 360 / Storyline for interactive course design.
  • Skilled in Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud for graphic and visual design.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design, e-learning, or learning program development.
  • A strong understanding of Adult Learning Theory and Instructional Design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
  • Proven ability to simplify complex topics into engaging learning experiences.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Adept at working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

  • $35 per hour
  • 6-month contract
  • No relocation assistance
