Hazen and Sawyer
Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer with knowledge and experience using AutoCAD to design Civil and Mechanical piping for Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants and Pump Stations. As part of our team in Tampa, Florida, you will work alongside staff Engineers and Senior CAD Designers to produce 2D drawings using Autodesk software.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare site layouts, enlarged plans, sections, and details for various civil site and process mechanical systems
Willingness to be a team player and be proactive to ensure projects stay on time and budget
Strong communication with team members to execute markups and understand design details
Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards
Ambition to learn, communicate effectively, and collaborate with other team members
Required Qualifications:
Completion of technical school CAD design certificate or Associate’s/Bachelor’s in Engineering Design, Drafting, or related field
2 plus years of experience with AutoCAD 2D
Basic understanding of Civil Site piping and associated materials
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to coordinate with interdisciplinary groups
Effective communication skills with attention to technical details
