We’re looking for a detail-obsessed Packaging Production Designer to translate concepts into production-ready files across our licensed consumer packaged goods portfolio (pet and home categories). You’ll be the bridge between design, product management, licensors, and factories—ensuring every dyeline, spec, and artwork handoff is accurate, on time, and on brand.

Base pay range: $75,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

What You’ll Do:

Partner with Product Managers to confirm specs, timelines, and task details are complete and correct.

Traffic, track, and deliver final artwork on schedule; maintain version control.

Ensure all designs meet internal brand standards and licensing partners’ brand guidelines (color, typography, claims, legal, and packaging hierarchies).

Prepare impeccable production files: correct dyelines, bleeds, layers, color profiles, barcodes/GTINs, callouts, and linked assets; package files for factory use.

Approve factory samples and digital proofs.

Participate in quarterly competitive shopping trips; synthesize trends and opportunities into actionable packaging updates.

Coordinate with external vendors (prepress, printers, factories) when necessary to resolve technical issues and optimize outcomes (materials, finishes, cost).

What You’ll Bring:

3–5+ years in packaging production or design for CPG (licensed brands a plus).

Expert in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop; comfortable with Acrobat preflight, color management, and packaging mockup tools.

Strong understanding of print processes (flexo, litho, digital), materials, color systems (CMYK, spot/Pantone), and sustainability considerations.

Demonstrated mastery of dyelines, structural files (shippers and merchandisers), and factory-ready art packaging.

Working knowledge of PLM/PM tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com) and digital asset management.

Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organization, and deadline discipline across high-volume SKUs.

Clear communicator able to collaborate with PMs, licensors, and international factories.

Nice to Have:

Experience in pet or home-care categories (toys, treats, grooming, odor control, laundry/tabletop/dishwashing)

Basic knowledge of regulatory/claims (FNS, CPSIA, Proposition 65, recycling symbols, country of origin).
