Store Planner II - New Store Fixture and Design
Responsible for the creative development of floor/fixture plans to drive new store growth. The Store Planner is responsible to develop conceptual designs for presentations to executives as well as store‑specific detailed floor/fixture plans ready to deliver to Architects. Strong understanding of food retail and architectural skills to develop an accurate store fixture plan utilizing current prototype standard.
*The position reports into our Support Office in Phoenix. Hybrid schedule in office Tuesday-Thursday.
Overview Of Responsibilities
Develop fixture plans for assigned store projects using Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, Revit and RELEX Floor planning systems and software
Ability to produce 3D renderings for presentation purposes in programs such as REVIT
This role will utilize macro‑space planning tools to execute the best floor plans for our stores to meet the needs of our customers and to ensure business objectives are met
Independently creates floor space strategies based on trends, performance data, external data, and other relevant resources, able to interpret and gleam insights from store data models
Creates ad‑hoc analysis through data and insight tools to drive strategic recommendations for floor layout and customer‑facing improvements while improving overall store productivity
Develops “what if” scenarios using problem‑solving skills to create feasibility plans for potential new locations that may not be prototypical
Maximizes the use of store space for merchandising sales and profits
Ensures proper and efficient use of FF&E (fixtures, furniture, and equipment) within store designs based on strategy and store size
Partners effectively by collaborating with architects, construction, operations and merchandising teams for space optimization and to drive new store strategy
Continuously analyzes performance metrics and identifies opportunities/makes recommendations to optimize space productivity in the prototype store design
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training/experience
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in retail design or architectural layout experience. Sprouts Store knowledge will be helpful with understanding the inner workings of the Sprouts store format
Bluebeam Revu, AutoCad, Revit and Adobe pro skills required
Smartsheet’s skills preferred and Project Management tool experience a plus
Demonstrated analytical skills with ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
Ability to gather and interpret data efficiently and accurately
Ability to cross functionally collaborate and problem‑solve across multiple company departments
Intermediate to advanced skills using MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook experience a plus
High verbal, written and presentation skills needed to be successful
