Job Description - Marketing Coordinator (180002NL) Carlson Wagonlit Travel SatoTravel

( CWTSatoTravel ) is seeking an experienced and talented Marketing Coordinator for our Arlington, Virginia location. As a Marketing Coordinator, your mission will be to “Deliver the Perfect Trip” in order to sustain optimum results for our clients and for CWTSatoTravel. Primary Objective The Marketing Coordinator will provide marketing and communications support for all CWTSatoTravel brands, products, services and systems. He or she will work directly with the Director, Marketing and Communications to assist in developing marketing communications strategies and deliver supporting initiatives through print, digital, social media and events while maintaining brand standards. This position will support CWTSatoTravel’s global brand identity as well as: SatoVacations E2 Solutions® Group Travel Services Major Areas of Accountability Responsibilities with internal and external contacts

Internal: Manager, Marketing and Communications; Employee Communications team; Global Communications team; Web team; E2 Solutions® team; Program Management team; HR External: NDTA members; Military & Government travelers

Communications creation

Copywriting and design of marketing collateral Maintaining and tracking subscription lists Creating surveys and tracking/analyzing responses Composing articles for quarterly newsletters Contributing content and ideas for email campaigns Conducting industry event research, planning, set-up and coverage Drafting and distributing internal company communications with the approval of the Director, Marketing and Communications Updating and maintaining documents on the employee intranet Assisting in the planning, research and execution of Washington, DC area employee events

Website maintenance

Active participant in website maintenance; experience with HTML and web development Serving as the IT liaison with IT Share Services Group coordinating developmental changes and communicating with affected teams Submitting work requests to the web team for routine maintenance Troubleshooting

Social media strategies

Contribute to CWTSatoTravel and FedRooms social media strategies including Facebook and LinkedIn Content creation and message responses (including after-hours) Creating social media communication plans and reporting analytics

Advertising support

Participate in quarterly advertising calls Manage advertisements for newsletters and some website uploading

Marketing analytics

Monitor marketing analytics (including website statistics) and develop reporting mechanisms Use Google Analytics to create reports and develop strategies for websites Create monthly reports for newsletters and social media sites

Qualifications Knowledge and Skills Required Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field 1-3 years experience in communications or related position Strong traditional and new (social) media experience Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills Experience in project management Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft Office applications Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred Personal Requirements Must have superior organizational skills as well as team building skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment Ability to represent the company in a professional, consistent manner Supervision of Others Position will not include supervision of others.
