#### Theatr Technology Inc**Theatr** is a community-driven ticket marketplace helping people discover, buy, and sell live performances. We started as a tiny Instagram account (@stooping\_theater) in New York’s theater scene and grew into a trusted platform featured by , , , and .
At our core, we’re building for connection. Live shows, whether a big Broadway musical or an artist’s late-night cabaret, remind us what it feels like to be fully present, to share a moment, to be moved. Even as AI transforms the world, the hunger for real, in-person experiences only gets stronger. We’re here to help people find them.
In just two years, we’ve brought 100K theater and concert lovers together and proven that community-powered discovery can reshape how people experience culture.
Now we’re entering our next chapter, and we’re looking for an **experienced product designer** who is obsessed with crafting meaningful human experiences and with bringing audiences and artists closer.
**About the Role**
As our Senior Product Designer, you’ll play a central role in defining how people experience Theatr across both mobile and web.
This isn’t a narrow execution role; you’ll influence product direction, craft the design language, and work closely with the founder and engineering team in a fast, collaborative loop.
Your work will touch the full lifecycle: clarifying problems, generating ideas, building prototypes, and helping ship polished, user-centered features.
If you enjoy designing consumer products that balance clarity, craft, and practicality, you’ll feel at home here.
**You Will**
• Own design end-to-end: from insights and concepts to prototypes and shipped features.
• Translate ambiguous ideas into clear problem statements and testable design approaches.
• Produce intuitive flows, interactions, and high-fidelity UI/UX in Figma.
• Maintain and evolve Theatr’s design system to ensure consistency and quality.
• Work closely with engineering to ensure smooth execution and measurable impact.
• Use research, data, and competitive insights to identify opportunities and refine designs.
• Run quick experiments, evaluate results, and iterate to improve conversion and engagement.
• Contribute to product discussions and help shape Theatr’s roadmap and long-term direction.
**What We’re Looking For**
• 3–5 years of product design experience, ideally in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong background in consumer mobile product design, with a portfolio that shows clear thinking and strong visual craft.
• Expertise in Figma; familiarity with modern design tools and AI workflows.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset; comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving projects forward.
• Collaborative and low ego; ability to balance user needs, product goals, and business constraints.
• Excellent interaction and visual design skills; attention to detail without slowing momentum.
• Analytical and data-informed approach to design decisions.
• Effective communicator and collaborator with product and engineering.
**Bonus:**
• Experience in social products, content communities, ticketing, or marketplace design.
• Experience in startups or working with small, focused teams.
• Genuine interest in live shows, arts, and culture.
**What We Offer**
• Competitive pay + equity + potential CPO in 1 year
• A product with real traction and a highly engaged user base.
• A small, fast-moving team where your work directly shapes the product.
• Opportunity to build core design foundations that will scale with the company.
• Creative ownership and room to grow into leadership roles as Theatr expands.
• The chance to shape how people discover and experience live culture in their cities in the new era. #J-18808-Ljbffr
