Responsibilities

Assist in developing architectural designs, conceptual sketches, and design presentations under the guidance of senior architects.

Contribute to schematic drawings, 3D models, and renderings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other industry-standard software.

Conduct site analysis, research zoning regulations, and assess project requirements.

Prepare detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, and construction details, ensuring alignment with industry standards.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering systems and building technologies into designs.

Support the preparation of project proposals, client presentations, and design documentation for reviews.

Participate in design charrettes, brainstorming sessions, and critiques to develop creative solutions.

Maintain clear communication with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure projects meet goals and deadlines.

Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Perform additional duties as assigned by senior architects or project managers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

2-3 years of experience in architectural design.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.

Experience in schematic design, including site planning, interior, and exterior design.

Familiarity with surveys related to property boundaries, easements, and utilities.

Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools.

Strong design sensibility with keen attention to detail.

Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methodologies.

Qualifications

Detail-oriented and adaptable communicator, capable of working effectively in group settings.

Ability to follow established policies while growing in confidence and independent decision-making.

Structured approach to work, preferring clear directives and low-risk environments.

Willingness to seek guidance initially while striving for autonomy over time.
