Job Description The NBC News Group is looking for a Programming Associate. Responsibilities Publish episodes of NBC News series to Peacock; ensure they appear on platform correctly. Set up and manage metadata for NBC News programs on NBCUniversal’s iOS/web app. Coordinate resources for STB/VOD records; flag pre-emptions to various teams. Create records for show timings in NBCU program (OTTO). Manage calendar for a high-level executive. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year working in television. Bachelor’s degree in a media related field. Extremely detail oriented and opening to learning new skills. Ability to work flexible hours and respond during off-hours. Desired Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or a program scheduling software. Understanding of television production terms. Appreciation and understanding of news. Proven success in a fast-paced and fluid environment. Self-starter with a positive outlook on life and sense of humor. Additional Job Requirements Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news. Must be willing to work in NYC. This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time. Salary Range $65,000 - $75,000 This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
