Job Description Senior UX/UI Designer
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced UX/UI designer to make a significant impact on a comprehensive digital ecosystem spanning ticketing, reservations, loyalty programs, and guest experiences. Location: Hybrid (Orange County preferred) or Remote
Rate: Starting at $75/hr
About This Role
We’re seeking a talented Senior UX/UI Designer to join our digital team on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll shape how guests interact with our digital ecosystem through exceptional user interfaces and thoughtfully designed experiences. This project-based engagement offers the perfect opportunity for a senior designer or consultant who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
What You’ll Do
Lead UX and UI design for digital features and experiences across mobile and web platforms
Translate business requirements and user insights into intuitive, visually compelling design solutions
Develop and deliver user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
Apply user-centered design principles, data insights, and usability testing feedback to inform design decisions
Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and technical requirements
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and content teams to drive successful implementation
Extend and maintain components within the design system to support consistency and scalability Produce clear documentation and handoff materials to support efficient development
User journey maps, flows, and wireframes for priority digital features
Interactive prototypes for testing and stakeholder review
Finalized high-fidelity design assets and specifications
Updated or extended components in the shared design system
Documentation for handoff to engineering and content teams
What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications
6+ years of UX/UI or product design experience, ideally in media, entertainment, or hospitality industries
Proven ability to balance creative innovation with functional, user‑centered design principles
Expertise with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and InVision
Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams
Experience designing for multiple devices (iOS, Android, Web)
Understanding of accessibility best practices and component‑based design systems
Comfort working in agile or iterative environments with changing priorities
Preferred Experience
Designing for guest reservations, ticketing, or loyalty program flows
Experience with live event venues, sports, or hospitality environments
Familiarity with experimentation (A/B testing, usability studies, behavioral analytics)
Exposure to personalization, segmentation, or digital marketing systems
