Position Summary: Responsible for the implementation of the WRC marketing/social media plan; maintaining department website; managing and building social media presence with the goal of increasing community and participation in WRC programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Cultivating new communities and managing online communities using Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok (or other social media as appropriate)
Collaborate on and implement Social Media Plan
Create/Maintain content and editorial calendar
Aggregate and/or create video and art content
Update department website
And, other duties as assigned
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Strong interest in social media
Existing knowledge of UNM Content System (or comparable website management)
Proofreading and editing skills
Skilled in computer graphics and layout/design software
Have basic knowledge of university settings, policies, programs, and services
Contribute to the maintenance of a supportive office environment
