Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Cape May, NJ, for an Audio Visual Technician. The Audio Visual Technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining AV systems. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring optimal AV system performance, and collaborating with team members on the setup and execution of installations. The role also involves maintaining system documentation and providing technical support to clients when required.

Qualifications

• Execute the installation, configuration, and programming of advanced audio/video/control systems
• Maintain and utilize working knowledge of control and automation wiring and protocols
• Read and interpret site plans including architectural drawings, as‑built plans, engineering system schematics and elevation drawings
• Troubleshoot complex systems from an installation and programming perspective
• Complete delivery and installation of audio/video, control and networking equipment
• Communicate often to the client. Check in often and ensure the client knows the next steps. Follow‑up quickly and make it easy for the client to participate in the experience
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Previous experience in smart home technology or home automation systems is REQUIRED
• Relevant certifications or training in AV technology is an advantage
