Responsibilities

• Performs circulation and collection services, including the check-out and return of library materials.
• Provides information, referrals, and promotional support related to College of Engineering Library resources and broader Florida State University services.
• Provides light scholarly research related to basic reference questions.
• Provides scholar support in accessing library services such as printer issues or general inquiries.
• Assists users with basic technology troubleshooting and support.
• Contributes to additional library operations and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience gained through prior employment or volunteer work.
• Strong motivation to learn and develop new skills.
• Genuine, demonstrated interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.

Anticipated Salary Range

$14 per hour

Considerations

This is an OPS/temporary job. Based on the duties, this position may require completion of a criminal history background check. This position is on-site at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering campus. Work hours are Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
