Food Photographer

Position Overview: Miami University is looking for a photographer to take photos of 12‑15 different foods for marketing materials, to be used in culinary event brochures. They do not have shoot days set up but would like to get them done before the end of the year. The shoots will be 2‑3 four‑hour days, onsite in Miami. The photographer will take photos of the food and do some styling, and will need to do some very basic editing for lighting.

Engagement duration: 2‑3 day shoot about 8‑12 hours total onsite for the shoot (4 hours each day). Shoot day/time is not selected yet, but would like to do it sometime before Christmas.

Hr/Wk (estimate): 8‑12 hours total for photography + 1‑2 hours for simple editing.

Equipment needs: Camera + Lighting.

Qualifications

• Experience photographing food.
• Experience with some food styling.
• Experience taking product/food photos to be used in marketing materials.
• If you have food styling tools, great, but not required.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
