Vehicle Photographer I

Shift: Monday-Friday 6am-4pm

Job Overview

This position is responsible for taking pre- and post-recon photos on our main lot, and TRA photographs of vehicles as defined by Image Standards using our MIC 2.0 application. The Vehicle Photographer will also handle Photo Booth processing and support uploading images captured during the inspection process. The role is outside, with photos taken in cold and hot weather.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Capture and process electronic images of vehicles.
  • Upload all pictures associated with electronic condition reports (ECR) and verify the quality and accuracy of each photograph.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Digital Quality Image (DQI) website.
  • Re-image or request re-imaging of any substandard images.
  • Process vehicles through the Photo Booth following available standard operating procedures (SOPs) if the location is equipped.
  • Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling related behaviors.
  • Participate in safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Generally, less than 2 years' experience in a related field.
  • Safe drivers needed; a valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks, manual dexterity.
  • Vision abilities required: close, distance, and depth perception.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of experience in photography, especially digital and computer processing.
  • Basic computer software skills.
  • Certification or education in photography.

Work Environment

  • Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Compensation

Hourly base pay rate is $14.71 - $22.12 per hour. The rate may vary within the anticipated range based on the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation such as commission and/or incentive programs.

Benefits

  • Minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off per month.
  • Seven paid holidays per calendar year.
