Responsibilities

• Write or refine blog content using AI-assisted workflows
• Optimize, publish, and maintain SEO articles + landing pages
• Perform keyword research and develop content calendars
• Run monthly performance reporting and interpret results
• Perform technical SEO audits (meta tags, headers, sitemap, robots, schema, Search Console)
• Manage Google Business Profiles (posting, updates, photo libraries)
• Ensure NAP consistency + citation building + directory cleanup
• Implement review generation and respond in brand tone

Requirements

• 2+ years hands-on SEO or Local SEO experience (agency or in-house)
• Proven experience with Google Business Profiles and Local Ranking signals
• Comfortable using AI tools for content drafting (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Search Console, Analytics, and industry SEO tools
• Strong communication — ability to explain findings logically and simply
• You move fast, stay organized, and don’t need handholding

Preferred

• Experience with hospitality, medical, legal, or multi-location brands
• Familiarity with Local Falcon / BrightLocal / Whitespark
• Experience ranking businesses in competitive DMAs (Chicago, NYC, LA, etc.)
• Understanding of entity-based SEO and semantic optimization
